Great News! – Great Event!
The biannual Nordic Police Research Conference brings together police scholars and practitioners from the Nordic countries and beyond interested in research on and for the police and policing. The theme for the 8th conference – Police Education – figures out in the presentations at the plenary session, while working groups cater for a wider range of topics and issues too.
We do see the Nordic police education as a specific strength and encourage researchers to submit abstracts for presentations and posters related to it, we appreciate presentations on other themes too, and, when in demand, are prepared to establish new working groups respectively.
We also have publishing plans, but they are still in their initiative phases – more news of them will follow later. Please note too, that the conference language will be, exclusively, English.
We are definitely looking forward to seeing you here in Tampere in September!
