Local busses 6, 20, and 24 from the city centre stop near Police University College at the stop “Vaajakatu”. Busses 3 A and B stop near the shopping centre Duo at the stop “Hervantakeskus B” on Insinöörinkatu which is around 500 metres away from Police University College.
Parking at Police University College
Visitors can use the car park P3 on Vaajakatu 2. Use of parking disc is required and the maximum parking time is 2 hours. Parking is supervised by the City Parking Control.
The entrance to Police University College is shown on the map with an orange sign in the A building. Doorbell is on the left hand side and signing in is required in order to enter the building. An identity card with a photo is asked at the Information Desk. The given visitor’s badge needs to be worn at all times at the campus area and returned after the visit when checking out. Hosts will meet visitors at the front hall.
Breakfast, lunch and supper are served in Miekkaleijona restaurant in the main building. There is also a cafeteria in the restaurant where smoothies, sandwiches, sodas, fruits and sweets such as buns and chocolate bars are sold. Only electronic ways of payment are accepted in the restaurant.

Campus library is situated opposite the campus restaurant in the main building. The library contains many English books and journals. To visit the library, please contact administrative staff at the university college.
Police University College campus offers a WIFI connection for visitors. You will get the password at the info point in the lobby of the main building or the info point in D section lobby.
National Police Museum beside Police University College was opened to the public in September 2008. The exhibitions present the history of the Finnish Police back to the Middle Ages, police’s duties nowadays, and much more.
Police related souvenirs are available at the Student Union’s Shop in the main building. To visit the shop, please contact administrative staff at the university college.
